Worms Head Rhossili
Just a 15 minute drive from Windsmoor Cottage, Rhossili Bay regularly ranks among the best beaches in the world. Its vast golden sands, dramatic cliffs, and views to Worm’s Head make it a must-see. Dogs are welcome all year round, and the National Trust car park has a café and visitor centre.
three cliffs bay
One of Gower’s most photographed spots – sweeping dunes, salt marsh, and three limestone peaks framing the sea. Park at Penmaen or Southgate and follow the walking paths down to the beach. Great for a picnic or a paddle, and dogs will love the open space.
Oxwich Bay & Watersports
A short drive from Windsmoor, Oxwich Bay is perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking. Hire equipment on the beach, join a boat trip, or simply enjoy the views.
Gower Coastal walks
The Wales Coast Path runs the full length of the peninsula, offering spectacular coastal walking. Favourites include Langland to Caswell, Oxwich to Port Eynon, and Three Cliffs to Penmaen Castle.
